Administrator
The Borough Administrator is appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council to serve as director of the Office of Administration, consisting of the Division of Purchasing and the Division of Finance. The Mayor has delegated to the Borough Administrator responsibility for supervising the day-to-day operations of the municipal departments. Responsibilities include preparing the annual budget, carrying out the policies and procedures established by the Borough's Committee, and making recommendations concerning long-range planning and capital improvements.
Purchasing
The Purchasing Agent is responsible for procuring goods and services in order to keep the Borough compliant with applicable New Jersey State procurement laws. The office has the task of oversight of the Borough's purchasing functions. All purchase orders for goods or services are processed through this office. The Purchasing Office makes every effort to provide the highest quality of goods and services needed by all Borough departments in a timely basis, and at the lowest possible price
Finance
The Finance Office is responsible for all financial transactions relating to the revenues and disbursements of the Borough. This office keeps a full account of all cash receipts and disbursements of the Borough, and has the fiduciary capacity to keep all monies not required for current operations safely invested or deposited in interest bearing accounts. It also handles the payroll for municipal employees and processes requisitions and purchase orders for payment.
